Gifford Woods State Park includes CCC histo¬ry, an old-growth hardwood forest, and many recreation opportunities such as fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and access to thousands of acres of state and federal lands. Explore the old-growth forest on an interpretive trail, sign out an “Explorer” interpretive backpack, hike along the Appalachian Trail, or stay in a rustic cabin. Campground includes 22 campsites, 20 lean-tos, 4 cabins, restrooms, showers ($), and trailer sanitary station. Located on VT Route 100 North.
