Wilgus State Park is Vermont’s only developed park on the Connecticut River. The park offers camping with 17 campsites (many with river views), 6 lean-tos, 2 cabins, a group area, restrooms, showers ($), trailer sanitary station, picnicking, hiking, boat rentals, and river canoe/kayak trips (concessionaire). Views of NH can be seen from the Pinnacle trail, and excellent bass fishing is found on the river. Wildlife viewing, river access and cartop boat launch add to the appeal. Located at 3985 US Route 5 in Weathersfield.
